As a Caltech graduate who received his degree in Mathematics, I understand when people say that math is difficult. And it very well can be if you have no one to help you! In the past I was a math tutor at UNT, and I am currently a volunteer math tutor in Durham Middle School's math tutor program and would like to branch out to help those in need other subjects. For me tutoring can mean the difference between struggling for hours on end on one problem and breezing through multiple problems with relative ease. If my efforts can get you closer even a little bit to the latter, then I consider that a job well done. Your time is special, and it is my job to see you spending more of it on the things you want to do, and not the things you dread. As a tutor I see to it that my students get the proper teaching that they need. I will try my best not to overwhelm, and I will most definitely make sure that my students are challenged.
