Daniel P.
Private tutor in Lewisville, TX
Education
I am a Computer Science major at The University of Texas at Dallas and plan on graduating within a year.
Experience
For two semesters at The University of Texas at Dallas I was a leader for PLTL (Peer-Led Team Learning) which were small study groups that met once a week throughout the year, in which I helped out with Calculus 1 and C++. I also have a younger sister who just started college whom I help out regularly. I thoroughly enjoy programming and all of its possibilities. With every industry becoming more and more technology driven, I believe it is important to have a basic understanding of how a computer works at a more basic level. With a basic knowledge of programming you can use this to help out with other things that can help out with school, work, or personal projects.

Hobbies
When I was younger I actually wanted to become a Web Developer so I taught myself HTML & CSS when I was in early middle school. As I pressed on with school I took classes in both 2D and 3D animation but you could say I had a change of heart when I hit college and wanted to focus more on the programming aspect of computers. I like to apply this all when learning and teaching others through both visuals and verbal explanations. With whatever spare time I might get, I like to unwind from school and work by going outdoors, drawing, cooking, spending time with friends, and playing video games.
